Nakhon Ratchasima

The city is commonly known as Korat (โคราช), a shortened form of its name. It is the governmental seat of the Nakhon Ratchasima Province and Nakhon Ratchasima District. Nakhon Ratchasima is the heart of the Nakhon Ratchasima metropolitan area.
